MacOS High Sierra Compatibility

Apple recently had its WWDC (World Wide Developer Conference) last June 5, 2017 and one of the highlights in the conference is the new macOS High Sierra 10.13.

We know that not all Mac hardware will be supported as technology improves software does too. If you're using a Mac computer, especially early ones and aged gracefully, you might want to check out if you can upgrade (for free) when the new macOS High Sierra is going to be available this year.

If your Mac computer is just about the year model as below, then there's a high chance you'll be fine.

  • MacBook Pro – 2010 or later models
  • MacBook – Late 2009 or later models
  • MacBook Air – 2010 or later models
  • iMac – Late 2009 or later models
  • Mac Mini – 2010 or later models
  • Mac Pro – 2010 or later models
